Xtreme Classes

Xtreme Conditioning: Conditioning is the foundation for any form of competitive martial arts, including mixed-martial-arts (MMA). If you have ever seen MMA events live or on television you understand the level of fitness it takes to make it through even one five minute round. At Xtreme Sports everyone is welcome to take part in the conditioning class we used to get Team Xtreme fighters in shape for competition.

Our Conditioning Class will take you through a series of non-contact drills that will burn up calories and have you looking fit and fierce in a short period of time! Children 15 years old and above can also take advantage of the non-contact conditioning techniques we use to get our professional and amature fighters ready for the ring or the cage! Conditioning is also a great introduction to other classes we teach which are always available to you.

Jiu-Jitsu*: This class teaches strikes, joint locks and throws based upon the fighting style developed by the Gracie family of Brazil. A great workout for both men and women.

Kickboxing*: Kickboxing comes in many forms and is most simply defined as a fighting style that incorporates the use of kicks as well as punches when facing an adversary. Kickboxing taught at Xtreme sports is heavily influenced by Muay Thai which is a fighting style that originates from Thailand. Students are taught to use what Thai fighters call the Art of Eight Limbs. Students are taught to attack with both fists, both elbows, both knees and both feet/shins. Eight weapons to choose from.

Kickboxing at Xtreme Sports is also heavily influenced by Sanshou. Sanshou is a Chinese hand to hand combat self defense system and combat sport. Sanshou is similar to Muay Thai but also incorporates devastating throws, locks and chokes that can incapacitate an opponent. Sanshou's most shining stars is Cung Lee who's fights are spectacular to watch.

Enjoy our kickboxing classes and take advantage of the best of two intense fighting styles.
